HOPE
Introduction
2nd Door is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Management Agency , managing the CSR budgets for individuals and corporate entities.
We believe that there is hope for the African continent to be free from poverty, and that process has to be strategically managed. 2nd Door identifies the need in the community and reaches out to its partners to ensure that that need is met.
We delight in seeing to it that development reaches remote communities and that a sustainable development system is implemented. We strongly believe that each community has the resources and potential to depend on itself. However, the initial task of kick starting that process lays in the hands of the privileged.
Vital development has an intrinsic value to the people it's meant for
Our Philosophy
Let’s help together! As human beings, it’s difficult to try and live and survive on our own. No matter the background we are all products of care. As a local proverbs goes “it takes a village to bring up a child”. The growth and upbringing of any child is shared by a number of people. This is what 2nd Door is driven by, the ability to ascertain the need to help elevate a community and completely eradicate poverty.
Our Promise
In identifying developmental gaps in a community and human needs such as health, education and access to information, individuals and organisations from a wide array of industrial specialisations are hereby invited to partner with 2nd Door in opening new dimensions of efforts to eradicate poverty strategically and sustainably.
In order to ensure that there is sustainability, 2nd Door establishes relationships with trade schools and invests in practical skills that enable communities to enhance their living standards through education, entrepreneurship and literacy.
We understand that each community faces different challenges and as such there is need for a tailored approach to dismiss redundant, duplicated and unwarranted interventions that have low or no value because they are a replica of what has worked elsewhere.
